Groovin’ Grouper is the newest chapter in a long-standing local restaurant legacy. Owned and operated by Venice natives Tom and Mariel, the food truck continues the tradition established by Mariel’s father, Rob Arbuckle, founder of Left Coast Seafood Co.
Groovin’ Grouper proudly serves beloved Left Coast favorites, including the iconic Shrimp Burger and the 4th-generation Admiral’s Fish Chowder—a recipe passed down from Mariel’s grandparents’ restaurant once located at the base of the Albee Road Bridge. Alongside these classics, the truck features new creative dishes that blend tradition with fresh coastal flair.
